Ka Boogie terms and conditions
Bookings
No booking is confirmed until Ka boogie has received a deposit. In the event you are offered a discount you must pay by the agreed date (24 hours before your event) otherwise the discount will be revoked.
If you do not pay the balance by the due date, Ka Boogie will regard the booking as cancelled and no refund will be payable.
Ka Boogie accepts no responsibility for reminding you that this balance has become due.
In the event the booking cannot proceed due to inclement weather conditions or mechanical breakdown you will be offered a full refund or alternative date. Proceeding with the booking means you accept the terms and conditions set out by Ka boogie.
Vehicle Access
We will require five parking spaces for the bus and would appreciate your vigilance with this so as to avoid obstructing other traffic; it is the hirer’s responsibility to provide adequate and safe parking for the entire booking.
The hirer will be responsible for any parking charges that may be due, and for obtaining any permission necessary to park the vehicle at the hirer’s chosen location, and for any fines (I.E. parking tickets) arising from the failure of the hirer to pay such charges or obtain such permission.
Health & Safety
The care, supervision and safety of the party are at all times the responsibility of the hirer.
There must be two responsible adults from the party in charge of the children on the bus at all times. Ka Boogie staff are there solely to operate and/or manage the vehicle and oversee the running of the party.
The maximum number of children on the vehicle is 15 at any given time and the age of each child is recommended 7 years upwards although with the consent of Ka Boogie younger children will be permitted.
Unwell children should not attend the party.
No one should approach the vehicle until it has completed manoeuvres, the engine has stopped and the main door is opened, and we ask that no members of the Group enter the vehicle until requested to do so by Ka Boogie staff.
Food
Food and drink must be consumed in the designated area only. Please ensure that children with allergies are made known to Ka Boogie staff so the appropriate safety measures can be taken, however responsibility for such children remains with the hirer.
Alcohol must not be consumed on the bus unless Ka Boogie has granted permission.
Chewing gum is forbidden at all times.
Smoking is strictly forbidden on or around the vehicle.
Responsibilities
The hirer must make himself or herself known to the driver on the day of the party.
The hirer is the person receiving the service and is the person responsible for payment of the fee. The hirer must be present on the bus during the booking unless Ka boogie has agreed otherwise.
The hirer or the second responsible adult must manage children’s behaviour at all times. Please be aware that if the driver feels at any time there is a danger to the children or the public, he/she may end the party with immediate effect.
The hirer will be responsible for any damage caused to the interior or exterior of the vehicle by any member of the hirer’s group.
Ka Boogie does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, inconvenience, injury or death arising from any accident, breakdown or delay attributable to reasons beyond the control of the owner.
We will not be responsible for any valuables or other items belonging to members of the group.
Other
A mileage surcharge of £1.50 per mile (return) will be added if Ka Boogie travels outside of a 10-mile radius starting from NE10 0LX.
Ka Boogie will not be held liable if the bus is late due to road works, traffic chaos, breakdown, diversions, or any other unforeseeable circumstances. Every Endeavour will be made that the bus arrives on time.
Ka Boogie is maintained to a very high standard however in the rare event of an oil leak, Ka Boogie does not accept responsibility for any loss/damage to driveways.
